Hillsborough 4-H Youth Foundation
This Foundation was started to provide financial resources to the 4-H youth in our county. We wanted to create an endowment that would provide long-term support and continue the tradition and values that contributed to who we are today.
4-H was started as a way to introduce new agricultural technology through young people in rural communities and bring new ideas into farming. Today, more than 100 years later, it serves as America’s largest youth development organization, empowering nearly six million young people and instilling the skills to lead for a lifetime. 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better.
