Eileen Hart Memorial Horticulture & Forest Ecology Mini Grants
This mini grant program is provided by the family and friends of Master Gardner Eileen Hart. The purpose is to encourage the growth of Hillsborough County 4-H clubs and the interest of members in the areas of horticulture, forestry-ecology, forestry, or related programs.
Applications can be submitted as early as September 15. All Mini grant applications received before November 1 will be considered by the Grants & Scholarships Committee. The decision will be announced in November of each year.
GUIDELINES
Clubs or a member may apply each year. If there are no eligible applicants each year, the grant will be carried over to the following year. If applying for both grants, separate applications are required.
CONDITIONs & qUALIFICAtiONs
You must be an active and approved Hillsborough County 4-H Club, leader, or member
In addition to completing this Cover Page form, you must also submit:
Essay: Attach an essay that briefly explains your club or individual 4-H year’s horticulture or forest ecology project plan to participate in with educational goals.
Please give estimated expenses when possible.
Project completion report: Mini Grant recipients are required to email a grant completion report with photos to the Grants & Scholarships Committee within six (6) months of receiving your grant.
