Nikki Foster

President

Nikki Foster

Nikki is the Community Investment Manager, Diversity & Inclusion for The Mosaic Company. Before joining the company, she provided 17 years of service to Citigroup.

In her professional career, Nikki has served on several Boards and advisory panels including Hillsborough County 4-H Youth Foundation, Tampa Bay African American Arts & Cultural Center, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, Progress Village Foundation, Inc., United Negro College Fund, The Plant City Economic Development Executive Committee, The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, and the Hillsborough Education Foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Eckerd College. Nikki is a graduate of Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program – Class of 2018.

Nikki is a mother of three adult children, and she has one grandson and two granddaughters.

Sally Alford Manning

Sally Manning joined 4-H as a Club Leader in the mid 1990’s when she became a member of the Florida State Fair Youth Dog Show Committee. For many years she served on the State 4-H Horse Committee and became a member of the Hillsborough County 4-H Youth Foundation in 2015. She helped organize countless 4-H horse and dog shows. Educating youth and teaching responsible animal ownership has always been a top priority. Sally’s three daughters participated in 4-H horse and dog shows growing up and she is happy to now be teaching the youngest of her 5 grandchildren to ride.

Cynthia Filer

Cynthia Filer is the Lead Residential Loan Officer at Farm Credit of Central Florida, and an effective member of the Hillsborough County Youth 4-H Foundation Board. Cynthia started on the Foundation board in 2019 and enjoys supporting the 4-H youth in Hillsborough County.

Cynthia comes from a background in agriculture, growing up in 4-H and FFA and her family’s cattle ranch. She earned her bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Warner University. She is an active member of the Polk County Young Farms and Ranchers, the Florida FFA sponsors committee, and the Florida Cattlewomen’s.

Michelle Williamson

Michelle has been involved with her family’s farm since 1982 and is currently the Director of Operations. She lives on the family farm in Dover, making her the 6th generation.  Her passion for agriculture makes her a strong advocate by serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and the Hillsborough County Farm Bureau, with multiple positions on executive committees. Michelle has also been a member of the State Board of Directors for Florida Farm Bureau. After serving for a year on the Board, Michelle humbly accepted the responsibility of Secretary, joining the executive committee.

Stephanie Collins

Owner, Lacy Brown Specialty Advertising LLC and Ag News Today LLC

“I serve on the Board as I have seen the good it does for developing youth,” Stephanie says.

Stephanie has numerous awards including Ag Journalist of the Year (awarded by Florida Farm Bureau), Friend of Hillsborough County Extension, Friend of Florida 4-H. She is has also been a three-time Florida 4-H Hall of Fame nominee among other accolades.

Mike McKinney

Mike served as an Extension educator for 36 years at both Purdue University and the University of Florida. He has devoted 68 years to 4-H as a member, junior leader, adult volunteer leader, agent, county director and parent. While serving in Hillsborough County, Mike was engaged in both administration and public policy. During his tenure there, he fostered the creation of the 4-H Foundation and the Hillsborough County Fair. One of his greatest honors was being inducted into the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame. His most cherished title Grandpa. Mike serves on the Foundation to give back to the organization that has given him so much.

Jemy Hinton

Jemy gained her interest in agriculture through 4-H as a young child. She was a 4-H member, volunteer leader, an agent and mom.

She majored in Agriculture at UF and Natural Sciences at Florida Southern College and received her MS at the University of Florida College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Her career included positions with the Hillsborough County Extension Services, Hillsborough County Farm Bureau, Department of Environmental Protection Southwest District, and the University of Florida’s Ag Best Management Practices (BMP).

Jemy served on dozens of committees and task forces including the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, the Hillsborough River Board Technical Advisory Committee, the Hillsborough River Greenways Task Force and others.

Robert M (Myke) Morris

Robert M (Myke) Morris was elected to the Hillsborough Soil & Water Conservation District beginning January, 2023 and is serving as Supervisor and Treasurer. He currently manages his family’s timber farm. Myke retired from the Southwest Florida Water Management District in 2020 after a career acquiring conservation lands and easements, real estate management and sales, agricultural finance, and rural appraisal. He is currently a Guardian ad Litem, 13th Judicial Circuit and serving as Secretary of the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame of which he is a Charter Member of the Board of Directors. His public service has included serving as Florida 4-H Foundation, Inc. President, University of Florida IFAS Vice Presidential Search Committee (by University Presidential Appointment) American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers:  Florida Chapter President, Professional Advancement and Education – national committees, Greater Hillsborough County Fair Board President, Hillsborough County Agri-business Council, and Hillsborough County Extension Overall Advisory Committee and Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee.

Sue Harrell

Sue Harell has been the marketing director and spokesperson for the Florida Strawberry Growers Association since 2007, and she’s been farming, marketing and promoting Florida-grown strawberries for over 47 years. Sue’s responsibilities for the FSGA consist of developing a variety of marketing strategies to reach consumers, retailers and foodservice professionals with the message that Florida is the dominant supplier of U.S.-grown strawberries that are harvested in the winter months. She works locally, statewide and nationally to coordinate and implement public relations and promotional programs that boost the overall awareness of Florida’s unique winter strawberries.

Lyle Sosomen

Lyle has been a member of the 4-H Youth Foundation for 11 years. He came to the Foundation without any previous 4-H experience but used his business and life skills to greatly contribute to the organization. He has served on both the budget and audit committees and is a key player in the annual 4-H Strawberry U-Pick planning team. Lyle was awarded the Foundation’s dedication and service award for his willingness to serve the Foundation.
